In classical astrology the 60 years cycle repeats itself
starting with
1) prabhave 2) vibhava 3) shukla 4) prmodoots 5) prajotpatti
.......
59) krodhana 60) Akshaya.
A native born in 1938 - Bahudhanya Samvatsar will
complete 60 years of his/ her life cycle in 1998 - Bahudhanya.
The replicable researches on transit of Jupiter & Saturn
the two major planets, around the time of Shastipurti (completion
of Sixty years of age), when both Jupiter and Saturn transit
the radical Jupiter & Saturn, has great significance in
an individual’s life depending upon the dasa and antardasa
at the time of completion of 60 years of age.
Sri. K.N. Rao has established the CRF approach with
regard to double transit phenomenon of Jupiter and Saturn
and has published case studies on the significant events in
a native’s life around 60 years of age in career (Please refer
to Ups and Downs in Career available in our Online
Bookstore). I have applied this research of Sri. K.N.
Rao to five case studies of mine given below with detailed
explanation of the events.
Data is given in a tabuler form and also the individual birth
horoscope and transit of Jupiter and Saturn around the year
of Shashtipurthi is shown by charts in all the five cases.
Case1. Male born on 23-12-1933 at 10.30 A.M. Saturday
at Madanapalle A.P. Srimukha Name Samvatsaram. Horoscope
In case of native No.1- Male born in Aquarius Lagna with
radical Jupiter in Virgo 27.80 and radical Sani in Capricorn.
Dasha lord 26 Venus 4th/9th lord and Yogakarka for Aquarius
at Gogears.
Lagna is conjunct Saturn the antardasa lord, in the 12th
house of foreign as per parashara. Ninth also represents foreign
travel. Both Venus and Saturn Dasha and antara lords are conjunct
exalted 10th lord Mars in 12th house indicating foreign travel
connected with profession. Transit Sani in Aquarius aspect
10th house of profession in 1994 and has already transited
12th house i.e. capricorn and Sani in antardasha lord also.
Similarly Jupiter’s transit into 9th house in Libra, in 1994
while native was running the Dasha of Sukra lord of 9th house,
is also indicative of foriegn travel. From Dasha Lord Venus
transit Jupiter was in 10th house (Libra) of profession. This
link of Dasa/antara lords, transit of Jupiter, Saturn, through
9th/12th Lagna & aspecting 10th house clearly indicates,
and justifies, the natives foreign travel to Singapore on
business proposal. In fact in Venus-Saturn-Budha pratyantara
was running from 28-12-1993 to 9-6-1994 during which period
the business foreign travel actually materialized.
Case 2. Female born on 30-8-1935 at 9.30 P.M. Anakapalle
A.P.Yuva Nama Samvatsaram. Horoscope
Female born in Aries Lagna, radical Jupiter was in Libra
and radical Saturn in Aquarius. Native was running Sani dasa
and Budha Antara around the time of her Shashtipurthi. Shani
- Budha from 20-9-1993 to 29-5-1996. and Shani - Budha - Mars
pratyantara from 25-1-1995 to 21-3-1995
Sani is Badhakadhipati and Budha is a Malefic as lord of
3rd/6th house for Aries ascendants & Mars 8th lord is
placed in 7th house.
Shani - Budha are in 6/8 positions which are unfavourable
Budha - Mars antara and pratyantra lords are in 2/12 positions
hence unfavourable.
Transit Saturn was in Aquarius, aspecting Venus in birth
chart & Venus is 2nd /7th lord a Marka. Natal Budha &
Moon of were placed in 8th house from transit Saturn, &
transit Shani aspected Aries the 64th Navamsa.
Transit Jupiter was in 8th house from Lagna aspecting 22nd
Drekkana in Pisces.
Transit Saturn was in Aquarius, aspecting Venus in birth
chart & Venus is 2nd /7th lord a Maraka. Natal Budha &
Moon were placed in 8th house from transit Saturn, & transit
Shani aspected Aries the 64th Navamsa.
Transit Jupiter was in 8th house from Lagna aspecting 22nd
Drekkana i.e. Pisces. Native’s death took place on 6-3-1995
and the chart erected for that day is shown. 3rd /4th 10th
Budha, a malefic and 2nd /7th lord Shukra a maraka are conjunct
in capricorn and in 6th house from the Lagna at which time
death took place.
On the fateful day Moon has moved into 64th Navamsha and
i.e. in R.K.A.(Rahu-Ketu Axis) Dasha, antara, pratyantara
are all unfavourable and the transits of Jupiter & Saturn
are also unfavourable and the period was around the time of
Shashtipurthi with malefic double transit phenomenon operating
and resulting in death of the native.
Case 3. Female born on Monday 7-10-1935 at 9 A.M.
Gadwal A.P. Yuva Nama Samvatsaram. Horoscope
In case No.3 of a Female native born in Tula (Libra) Lagna
natal Jupiter is placed in 2nd house (Scorpio) & natal
Saturn in 5th house i.e. Aquarius which is his Moolatrikona.
Saturn is a Yogakaraka for Tula lagna.
Around the time of her Shashtipurthi (Completion of 60 years
of age) native was running the enigmatic Saturn dasa - Venus
antara and pratyantara of Saturn between 28-6-1995 to 28-12-95.
During this period transit Jupiter was in Scorpio traversing
over natal Jupiter and Transit Saturn in Aquarius traversing
over natal Saturn in 5th house from Lagna.
Dasa and Antara lords Saturn and Venus are in mutual aspects
in 5/11 axis of education (5th) and house of achievements
(11th) in birth horoscope of profession.
The native stood All India first in Jyotish Praveen exam
of 1995 june Conducted by I C A S and received the gold medal
in October 1995 in her 60th year justifying the benefic dasa
- antara in 5/11 axis and the favourable double transit phenonomenon
and the C R F approach in also justified. This motivated the
native to complete Jyotish Visharad in 1996 and pursue astrology
as Scientific research since her retirement.
Case 4. Male born on 2-5-1936 at 4.45 A.M. Madanapalle
A.P. Dhata Nama Samvatsaram. Horoscope
Case No.4 is of a male native born when Pisces was rising.
Native has retrograde Jupiter placed in Sagittarius in the
10th house of profession and natal Saturn is placed in Aquarius
in 12th house Natal Saturn and 5th lord Moon in Leo are in
mutual aspect in the birth horoscope.
At the time of completion of 60 years, around Shashtipurthi
time native was running Sani dasa & Shani antara.
Transit Shani was in Aquarius till Feb 96 aspecting 5th lord
Moon.
Transit Jupiter was Sagittarius and aspected 5th lord moon.
This double transit of Jupiter & Saturn. Around his Shashtipurthi
time aspecting 5th lord moon clinched the marriage of both
were performed to March 96 & Aprill 96, respectively of
the 1st & 2nd daughter.
In our Sociological situation for a middle class native to
perform marriage of 2nd daughters is a great relief specially
when he is blessed with all four daughters, and this event
happening at the time of Shashtipurthi is really significant.
This native had taken voluntary retirement in 1993 and now
in April 1996 as Sani transited into Pisces aspecting his
10th house Sagittarius and Jupiter was in transit in Sagittarius,
native got a lucrative appointment and native is still working
even after completing 62 years.
Case 5. Male born on 18-10-1939 at 9.30 A.M. Tirupati
A.P. Pramadi Nama Samvatsaram. Horoscope
Case No.5 is of a native born in Virgo Lagna with retrograde
Jupiter in Pisces & retrograde Saturn in Aries. Native
has been running Rahu dasa and Sukra antara from 14-12-96
to 14-12-99.
Both dasa & antara lords Rahu & Sukra occupy the
2nd house in the natal chart. Moreover Sukra is 2nd /9th lord
placed in 2nd house which is his own house. In natal chart
both Jupiter & Saturn aspect Rahu and Sukra who are present
dasa & antara lords.
Native will be entering his 60th year from October 98 during
which period Jupiter will be transiting in Aquarius &
transit Saturn has entered Aries both aspecting 2nd house
& dasa & antara lord Rahu & Sukra.
Native a Central Govt employee has his official date of birth
as 18-10-1940 & was due for retirement in October 1998.
But the recent G.O. of June 1998 raising the retirement age
of Central Govt. employee from 58 to 60 years of age has given
the native an extra lease of service till October 2000 and
extra income (2nd house denotes income). Though native actually
completes 60 years of age in October 1999, he will continue
in service till 61 years.
The significance of the double transit of Jupiter and Saturn
has been favourably felt by the native while giving Astrological
counselling to this native & native No.4, it was an expression
of awe by them.
In fact I have witnessed a number of incidents in the past
two years, in case of persons completing or on the eve of
completion of 60 years facing distress, death and in a few
cases elevation or sudden windfalls and foreign travel for
the first time. But as these horoscopes are not available
for study, I am unable to establish the C R F approach with
regards to double transit phenomenon in Case of such events.
In the five cases explained above their birth horoscopes
with planetary degrees are furnished and also the transit
of Jupiter & Saturn around their 60th year.
