KASHMIR (Updated)
Today, 5 August 2019 has become a historic day in our history as something which could not be done in 70 years has taken shape now. Union Home minister Amit Shah has announced that Article 370 which grants special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir will be scrapped. He also announced that Jammu and Kashmir will no longer be a state and it will be bifurcated into two Union Territories— Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.  lue lisää..lue lisää..
WITHERING AWAY OF CONGRESS PARTY
Is ours an ideal democracy!! Hardly so, it is far from being an ideal democracy; where there should be  two equal opponents, like Conservative and Labour party in Britain; like Republican and Democratic party in USA. As for India, for the two major parties here i.e. Congress and BJP there has never been a state of relative equilibrium. There was a time when Congress was all powerful for a long time, BJP had not come into existence then. BJP came into existence and gradually spread its wings and the status now of present election result on 23 May 2019 is that BJP alone bagged 303 seats and 353 seats along with its NDA Alliance. Congress on the other hand could muster only 52 seats; along with UPA, Congress got 91. Other parties won 98 seats. What to talk of equality, Congress party could not win even 55 seats which is the requisite 10 % to become the official opposition. lue lisää..lue lisää..

EXPECTATIONS FROM NARENDRA MODI - INITIAL TWO YEARS

A simple boy with humblest beginnings, Narendra Damodar Modi, ascetic in nature and habits, proud of his uncompromising Hindu nationalism rising so high to decimate a disgusting dynasty making a mockery of Indian democracy should have got a favorable coverage in the western press, for us, the English knowing Indians, in the Anglo American press. But that has been prejudiced, lop sided and even vicious in some bits here and there. To add to that they do not forget to quote the stupid comments of Mani Shankar Ayyar the biggest idiotic snob of India whose entire political career has revolved in distinguishing himself as the most ardent slave of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty of Indian
politics.

Ayyar with his education in the Doon School and later in the St. Stephens made a greater fool of himself when he derided the origins of the now famous tea seller. With all that education, this foolish fellow does not see in his derision the anachronism in his understanding of democracy in which the poor have as much a right to rise to the top as anyone else. Ayyar, a cynic, who styles and fancies himself to be a wit, did not know what tapasya means, the tapasya of Modi through which he rose so high. Ayyar is a Brahmin and therefore this ignorance is abysmal and pitiable. Not that I, myself a Brahmin, would prefer to refer to any casteist advantage or disadvantage in the more liberal India of our days. But I do expect the snobs to know the traditions of our great country first.

A mahatma in lion clothes, the “half naked fakir” as Churchill called him, had shaken the foundation of the British empire and Subhash Chandra Bose struck terror leading to the British decision to quit India, is our well known history. Modi hails from the same state as the Mahatma but with a different background and with proud Hindu nationalism.

Anyway the rise of Modi has decimated the dynasty and snobs like Mani Shankar Ayyar and Khurshid defeated in elections in the historic turn Indian democracy has taken in the elections of 2014 should have grown wiser.

What then are the expectations from Modi? Briefly they are seen thus.

JOBS
What does the nation, particularly the younger generation said to have voted for his promise of an economic agenda knowing his successes in Gujarat expect from Modi? It clearly is jobs, jobs and jobs. How will it be provided?

The New Year horoscope of 2014 with Mars in the eleventh house aspected by Sun and Moon is a clear indication of considerable success in this area. It may improve further as soon as Jupiter moves into Karka and for one year the nation may see a boom which was not expected before the general elections of 2014. There is every likelihood of the new government succeeding in this area.

Poor Monsoon
But there is a handicap the new government will have to work under. In the Ardra Pravesh horoscope the lagna is Simha and Moon is in Mesha under malefic aspects. There has been a warning of the El Nino factor this year. This rainy season is going to witness heavy rainsfalls in some periods and drought like conditions also ruining the prospects of a normal good monsoon. What is going to be gained on the industrial side will be offset through bad monsoon and the agony of Indian farmers.

Border problems
In the Indian Independence horoscope in the antardasha of Ketu in the seventh house, problems on the Indian borders and Indian embassies in foreign countries can be target of attack is what the nation must be prepared for apart from communal and ethnic tensions within India.

Inflation
Inflation cannot be controlled under these circumstances (good industrialization creating jobs and calamities caused by an erratic monsoon) to the satisfaction of Indian citizens and is bound to lead to criticism of the government particularly by the political parties never wanting to exploit this situation. According to a horoscope I have of the Aam Aadmi Party, it will never miss a chance to agitate many times and people will recognize it as an Always Agitating Party (AAP) which is also an Always Agitated Party (AAP).

Law and order and women’s security
Can any central government do much about it except making Delhi safe ? It is for the states to do it and take the credit for it or get a bad name. But one can expect lesser crimes against women as the yearly horoscope is quite good in the matter. But some scandals which will involve big people will hit headlines is evident.

Swiss accounts
The tireless Swami Ramdeo who had sworn that he would not return to his Hardwar ashram till he had ousted the government controlled by Sonia Gandhi will demand that the money of Indians in foreign banks be brought back. Then the highly spirited Ram Jethamalani moving the Supreme Court have been very effective moves in this direction. Saturn in twelfth house aspected by Jupiter the second lord in eighth house aspecting the twelfth house is a very good promise of success in this area.

Such money in foreign deals need not be in doubt after reading the book of B.G.Deshmukh.

The Pioneer
Foreign hands fill the Congress’s coffers
Tuesday, 18 February 2014 | ASurya Prakash

...but we certainly have substantial evidence to show that the Congress has taken the ‘foreign route’ to raise funds since the return of Indira Gandhi as Prime Minister in 1980.

BG Deshmukh, who was Cabinet Secretary when Rajiv Gandhi was Prime Minister, provides us valuable insights into the way the Nehru-Gandhi’s relied more on foreign sources, both for party funds and their own security. In his book A Cabinet Secretary Looks Back, Deshmukh talks of the Bofors payoffs scandal and says that its genesis could be traced to the practice initiated by Indira Gandhi to collect funds for the Congress........   However, Indira Gandhi changed the way she collected funds for her party after she returned to power in 1980. According to Deshmukh, “She decided that a far better way to collect funds for the party was through claiming cuts from foreign deals”. He heard from his colleagues that “trusted senior officers” were posted in the Defense Ministry and the Department of Defense Production. Further, he was told that Sanjay Gandhi had summoned senior officers from certain ministries and instructed them on certain deals.

Indira Gandhi’s new method of collecting party funds from foreign sources has been corroborated by two other persons who have held high office in the country — R Venkataraman, who was President, and BK Nehru, former Governor of Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, and Gujarat, and Indian Ambassador to the United States.””

Money of Congress leaders
Without elaborating let it be hinted that in the party horoscope of the Congress, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars aspecting the twelfth house has its own sensational story of hidden money ........... .What B.G. Deshmukh says has an astrological basis also.

The placement of Jupiter in this horoscope also means getting good mines of gold and precious metals this year easing the financial position considerably.

2015 (20 March 15.06 Delhi)
The successes of 2014 in the months left before the start of the Hindu New Year 2015 (20 March 2015) will also have their repercussions next year particularly by political parties and religious groups wanting to defame the government. Part of the reason for this will be that with Jupiter in Simha, the Ram Mandir issue will acquire prominence either as a result of the decision of the Supreme Court or the demand of some Hindu religious leaders. The communal polarization and the communal bitterness resulting from it will need to be tackled properly.

There is another religious issue we do not talk about openly but which needs immediate national attention. That will create a national conflagration.

2016 (7 April 2016 16.53 Delhi)
While the communal tension of 2015 will not abate, there is a clear indication of the year being tragic also as attempt on the life of someone in high position giving a shock to the government seems inevitable.

Legislations: In the Jupiter Saturn period of the Indian Republican horoscopes will come a spate of legislations which will be welcome by citizens but will embarrass many politicians. It need not be spelled out.

India has entered a very sensational period of its history now, with legislations of far reaching consequences, serious developments on Indian borders, internal security and attack on leaders of the BJP will be more a rule than an exception in the coming months and years. Conspiracies afoot even since the election results came out in the present dasha chiddra of Sun and more in the dasha of Moon will have to be lived with inspite of the economic prosperity and rich minerals and oil that will be discovered in the coming years. With such hope is the looming despair of peace getting disturbed often.

These are the challenges Modi will have to face once he sits on the throne of biggest thorns. India has entered an era of many earthquakes, financial and physical as well,

These are only indications being given briefly and can be elaborated later.
