On India's Independence Day Aug 15, a group of men will meet in Shimla and chalk out a plan for "equal rights" and "freedom" - from "harassment" by their wives. Some of the demands to be raised at the Shimla convention by the husbands' group include a separate men's welfare ministry on the lines of the women and child welfare ministry, equal taxation for men and women, change in inheritance laws, amendment to the domestic violence prevention law, and mandatory joint custody of children for divorced couples. czytaj więcej...

AMAZING RESEARCH
EVERYTIME I READ SUCH ARTICLES I SAVE IT AND CARRY PRINTOUTS TO BED FOR READING AT NIGHT
I FEEL A DEEP ANGUISH AND A SADNESS ENVELOPS ME THAT WE COULD NOT GET MORE OF RAO SIR OR SOME OF HIS VERY MERITORIOUS ASSOCIATES IN A MORE INTERACTIVE MANNER IN THIS AGE OF HIGH INTERACTIVITY . SUCH ASTROLOGY TEACHING IN THE FIRST PERSON BEING LIMITED TO BVB NEW DELHI IS A VERY BIG LOSS TO PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO CANT B IN DELHI

Astrology:Explaining past or predicting future
This is a brilliant piece of writing as it seeks to explain some thing that is not apparent. Also the article is about a legend of yester years whose art and sentiments continue to move people throughout the world.
I am seeking to raise a debate whether the crux of astrology is in explaining the past as done here or in making predictions about future? I see the second in lesser measure on this site.

Fitting tribute to a great singer
Mr. Rao has written a fitting tribute to a great singer. Saigal was also a remarkable human being with a very large heart for all who came close to him. It was very touching to learn of his many acts of kindness. This set of articles should be more widely circulated and should be translated into major Indian languages. Indians badly need to know of their own great stars and Saigal, undoubtedly, was one.

The Immortal Singer !!
Rao saheb has astrologically and beautifully traced the life of the great immortal singer KL Saigal. I remember listening to his songs - Jab dil he toot gaya,- Aye Qatib taqdeer, Diya jalao for 3mts at 8.00 AM in the morning every day years back as a child when my late father used tune in prompty to Vividh Bharati - before staring his chores for leaving to office. He would insist we too should listen to such quality music . I have a collection of Saigal sahabs songs handed over by him to me which in turn I play for my son too!!!
Despite a weak moon in the natal horoscope of Saigal sahib . (I say weak because it is debilitated and the absence of planets on etiher sides ) and venus in the sixth house Rao sahab has beautifully explained how KL S rose to be a great singer with his mother as the guiding force breaking the myth - that creative planets like Moon and Venus should be strongly placed for a popular and successful artist- singer.
It is interesting to note that his death was predicted accurately by an astrologer. I think the yester year population, be it artistes or astrologers - have always been more authentic and sincere to their profession and. not to forget the humane qualities they had . The golden era of Music or any field for that matter is no longer there .
We shudder to think the decadent society in which we live today. The quality of music as well as astrology - the result of lack of sincereity ,the spurt of money making astrologers not to mention the crude meaningless westernization of our songs churned out by Bollywood -wonder where they would lead us to !!!
Articles like this are truly inspiring !!!
