MODEL EXERCISE 1B

Nakshatras    Model Exercise 1  Model Exercise 1B

Now do yet another full exercise to gain confidence (Horoscopes #4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

1. First describe the whole horoscope like, Lagna is Dhanu, the Sun is in Meena etc.(no.6)

2. Then describe the Moon sign.

3. Now describe the Janma Nakshatra.

4. Now describe the Nakshatras of each planet. Now fill up both check lists being given here invariably.

Check List One (Birth Details)

1. POB Has the place of birth been noted down correctly with its correct Latitude and Longitude?

2. DOB Has the date of birth been noted correctly.

If you do not want to care for such details, you are not learning astrology sincerely.

3. TOB The trickiest area for the preparation of a horoscope is the accurate birth time. Now understand different practices:

(a) In astrology-conscious families, the birth time is noted down upto seconds, even when babies were delivered at home because two women had to stand with watches and note down the birth time.

(b) Hospital time is dependable but rarely accurate. Doctors and nurses are anxious to save the mother and the baby and are least bothered about the accurate birth time.

(c) If the birth time is given vaguely, as happens as many people say, "my mother says that the temple bells were ringing in the evening when I was born", you had better go to that temple and pray to God to let you know the correct birth time.

4. TWINS You may be aware that all critics of astrology ask you to explain why twins have different fates. The astrological answer is that their birth details are never recorded most accurately upto seconds, which is absolutely necessary.

I have been able to solve this in some cases but gave up the attempt as it takes up lot of time. Now describe the following horoscope.

Exercises

1.The Moon of a famous Indian statesman is in Ashlesha. Where is the Moon then?

The answer is: the Moon is in Karka and is more 16-40 degrees and less than 30 degrees.

2. The Moon of a male is at two degrees and twenty two minutes in Ashwini. Where is the Moon? You can see that it is in Mesha.

3. The Moon of a female is in Vishakha but in Tula. What is the degree of Moon? You can see that the Moon must have crossed twenty degrees in Tula but not crossed over into Vrischika.

Puzzles

1. A person has his Moon in Mithuna and in the nakshatra of Rahu. What is the Nakshatra?

2. A person has his Moon in the last degrees of Simha. Where is the Moon? And what is the name of the nakshatra?

3. A person says that his Moon is either at the end of Uttarbhadrapada or beginning of Revati. Where is the Moon? And what is approximately the degree of his Moon? The final exercise Now, take up a computer cast horoscope, your own or of others and see how much is your understanding of a horoscope. Keep doing it regularly and get into the habit of locating the house and the nakshatra of each planet and the Lagna which will be explained later.
