KASHMIR (Updated)
Today, 5 August 2019 has become a historic day in our history as something which could not be done in 70 years has taken shape now. He also announced that Jammu and Kashmir will no longer be a state and it will be bifurcated into two Union Territories— Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.  lasiet vairāk...lasiet vairāk...
WITHERING AWAY OF CONGRESS PARTY
Is ours an ideal democracy!! Hardly so, it is far from being an ideal democracy; where there should be  two equal opponents, like Conservative and Labour party in Britain; like Republican and Democratic party in USA. As for India, for the two major parties here i.e. Congress and BJP there has never been a state of relative equilibrium. There was a time when Congress was all powerful for a long time, BJP had not come into existence then. BJP came into existence and gradually spread its wings and the status now of present election result on 23 May 2019 is that BJP alone bagged 303 seats and 353 seats along with its NDA Alliance. Congress on the other hand could muster only 52 seats; along with UPA, Congress got 91. Other parties won 98 seats. What to talk of equality, Congress party could not win even 55 seats which is the requisite 10 % to become the official opposition. lasiet vairāk...lasiet vairāk...

ARAB AUTUMN IN EGYPT

It is only when television channels and newspapers give headlines to an event and draw our attention to some important happening in countries about which we know so little and whose political and socio-economic developments interests us least that we open their horoscopes, if we have them, and watch it, understand , reason out astrologically why it is happening and venture out to predict about some events of future.

In 2011 January it was done as the Jasmine revolution swept over Tunisia and later it was Egypt which interested us more and two pieces were written about it extracts from which are produced below.
                            ===================================
BERLIN MOVEMENT IN ARAB WORLD
30 January 2011, 1:37 PM KN RAO
30 January 2011, 1:37 PM
.........I have commented briefly on the Saturn Jupiter phenomenon occurring in 2011 in my previous pieces but never even thought of its impact on the Arab world, particularly the northern countries like Tunisia which has witnessed its jasmine revolution and is still to get a settled shape.

..... Thrones are shaking. The tremor of it all can totally alter the Arab world, affect Israel in a very dangerous way and lead to radical revaluation of America’s Arab policy, more so because Egypt is the mainstay and bulwark of its policy towards Muslim countries of west Asia.

Changes adverse to the interest of USA and Israel will have all the provocative ingredients of a major war in that region after Rahu moves into Vrischika and later Saturn and Rahu join in Tula. World awaits with anxious and abated breath these developments. That is the time when India will find herself in the grip of a religious frenzy, communal in tone and violent in expression and Pakistan will undergo a great change.

....For Obama administration, it is an ordeal like 1979 when backing Shah of Iran, it lost the sympathy of the followers of Ayatollah Khomeni and Iran continues to be its enemy till now.Yet, the rise of Islamic forces is what Israel and USA fear now. At the moment it has the appearance of a non- Islamic tenor and color.

Egypt
Like so many Asian countries of Asia which have witnessed glorious civilizations when the west was plunged into barbarism, Egypt is the glory of world history. It is now dependent on the west for its aid, particularly USA and UK in return for
preventing the rise of Islamic Brotherhood and for forging friendship with Israel.
Saturn Saturn-Venus 19 Sept 2010 to 21 March 2011

In the New Statesman an article is very insightful:
The truth about Egypt-Mehdi Hasan - 28 January 2011 15:00: The US and the UK have backed and funded Hosni Mubarak's corrupt and tawdry dictatorship for far too long. Mubarak might be a son of a @#!*% but, as the saying goes, he is very much OUR son of a @#!*% . Some facts to consider:
* Egypt is the one of the biggest recipients of US economic and development assistance - $28 billion since 1975, according to USAID. Only
Israel, Pakistan andAfghanistan have received more cash.
* Egypt is the second-biggest recipient (behind Israel) of US military aid - over $1.3 billion a year.
And about UK’s interest in Egypt, the article says:
* The UK is the largest foreign investor in Egypt.
* Tony Blair, that other great neoconservative crusader for freedom and democracy in the Middle East, visited Egypt with his family on holiday on several occasions, had countless meetings with Mubarak, but never chastised him in the manner that he now chastises, say, the Iranians. Shamefully, Blair, while in office as  prime minister of the United Kingdom, allowed Mubarak to pay for his family's luxury holiday at the Red Sea resort of Sham-el-Sheikh in December 2001.”

It is clear that neither USA nor UK want Hosni Mubarak to step down and face the uncertainty of a future government which may be anti-Israel and anti USA. But the horoscope of Egypt does not seem to help them.

Egypt Horoscope1) Here, as in the case of Tunisia, transiting Saturn and Jupiter are influencing the tenth lord, here Saturn in Kanya. A change is visible and change can mean only the downfall of Hosni Mubarak.

2) The dasha is Saturn-Saturn-Venus; again it is a dasha chiddra like Tunisia’s, the dasha of Saturn having begun from September 2009. The pratyantar dasha of Venus will be over on 21 March 2011 and as soon the pratyantar of Sun begins there should be a new head of state of Egypt if not earlier.

If Chara dasha is to be used it is very critical till 9 February in the pratyantar dasha of Dhanu in the Dhanu mahadasha and Meena antardasha. At any rate, 7 March may be the deadline for a change.

......The least expected and surprising development in theArab world now is the hope now of the end of the autocratic rule. The most feared prospect in such a change is the rise of Islamist forces which has been its history.

WITNESSING A REVOLUTION AND THE GREAT ANTICLIMAX
10 February 2011, 11:22 PM KN RAO
“I examined it astrologically, discussed it with Col.A.K.Gour, Anil Singh, Dinesh andAnjali Jain, Kavita and Vijaylakshmi---all astrologers during our trip to Nathdwara, the pilgrimage ( 7th to 10th ).

We were also discussing why like Pakistan, Egypt will always have a boa constrictor like grip of army over its administration. See the role of Mars in both horoscopes. It is where the horoscope of a nation comes into play most significantly. ...

As I write this, I expect and fear that the Egyptian revolution is going to become bloody from now onwards, from today, Friday when crowds will
gather at Tahrir Square.

Saturn Saturn-Venus 19 Sept 2010 to 21 March 2011

Double transit
More important to remember in this context is that after the ouster of King Farouk in 1952 , the Arab world is now going to complete a period of sixty years, another research of mine. With Jupiter and Saturn over their positions when the revolutionary ferment in the Arab world with Nasser being its leader, manifested, the Arab world is going to witness a historic change now.

Recall these
1)Changes adverse to the interest of USA and Israel will have all the provocative ingredients of a major war in that region after Rahu moves into Vrischika and later Saturn and Rahu join in Tula.

The development
And watch Syrian problem and how world powers are supplying arms to both side, to the Assad regime representing Shias and to the rebel Sunnis.

2)That is the time when India will find herself in the grip of a religious frenzy, communal in tone and violent in expression and Pakistan will undergo a great change.

The development
The rise of Narendra Modi in India is to be watched with some hope and also trepidation. Ishrat Jahan case adds fuel to this fire and we are awaiting further developments. The promise to build a Ram Temple atAyodhya will create communal tension as it already has.In Pakistan there has been a change with the new Pakistan government facing challenges it is not able to meet yet.

3) Yet, the rise of Islamic forces is what Israel and USA fear now. At the moment it has the appearance of a non-Islamic tenor and color.

The development
Muslim Brotherhood rose in Egypt and now the coup against Morsi by the Egyptian is plunging the country into a bloody confrontation between the army and the supporters of Morsi.

WHAT NEXT ?
“There was a growing realization among its rank and file that Morsi's political career will not be resurrected and that the Brotherhood's foray into political life has been crushed.

Some supporters are now predicting a return to the movement's outlawed days, in which they were a strong organizing force among communities who supported them, but faced decades of persecution from leaders, including Hosni Mubarak, who kept them far from the political power base. "There is no turning back for the Brotherhood," said one senior member of the Shura Council, the upper house of Egypt's parliament. "We have to raise the stakes to ensure we get out of this safe and intact. We must ensure that we will not be isolated politi- cally and from society and we must demand the return of the elected president, Morsi." ....”An army colonel, who declined to be identified, said there was confusion among Brotherhood ranks about whether to stick with public diplomacy, or to take their anger to the streets.”

The Muslim Brotherhood can never be wiped out in Egypt. Founded in the twenties of the last century it is well organized, has a strong mass base is quite capable of getting converted into a terrorist organization fully. It has two choices: remain passive and expect to be voted into power again or become a totally terrorist organization and plunge Egypt into a civil war. What decision it will take will be known or guessed after some months.

In the present Saturn Mercury period and later in Ketu period lasting upto 2016 there is very little possible for Egypt to return to normalcy. The presence of Ketu in the fourth house in the birth horoscope, in the lagna in the dashamansha with the tenth lord Jupiter and again the aspect of Mars on the lagna lord , Mercury, in the dashamansha is hardly an indication of anything normal.

Then in transit Saturn and Rahu in the seventh house which will be aspected by Mars from August is not promising peaceful times in coming months.

The world is caught in a bout of insanity with these transits of planets in the year 2013. Which country will be disturbed how and when needs a very comprehensive study by a team of astrologers, country by country, which we cannot do. Enough it is say, moods of insanity, violence are gripping nations after nations apart from violent weather.

Two years ago, the western press and US president called itArab Spring and the world took notice of it. Now it is Arab autumn which the world particularly Israel and USA will watch with trepidation.
