KASHMIR (Updated)
Today, 5 August 2019 has become a historic day in our history as something which could not be done in 70 years has taken shape now. Union Home minister Amit Shah has announced that Article 370 which grants special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir will be scrapped. He also announced that Jammu and Kashmir will no longer be a state and it will be bifurcated into two Union Territories— Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.  read more...read more...
WITHERING AWAY OF CONGRESS PARTY
Is ours an ideal democracy!! Hardly so, it is far from being an ideal democracy; where there should be  two equal opponents, like Conservative and Labour party in Britain; like Republican and Democratic party in USA. As for India, for the two major parties here i.e. Congress and BJP there has never been a state of relative equilibrium. There was a time when Congress was all powerful for a long time, BJP had not come into existence then. BJP came into existence and gradually spread its wings and the status now of present election result on 23 May 2019 is that BJP alone bagged 303 seats and 353 seats along with its NDA Alliance. Congress on the other hand could muster only 52 seats; along with UPA, Congress got 91. Other parties won 98 seats. What to talk of equality, Congress party could not win even 55 seats which is the requisite 10 % to become the official opposition. read more...read more...

LIBYA AND YEMEN

My prediction about Libya is not likely to go wrong but the predicted time frame may go awry. I had written: “The horoscope of Libya being used here is untested in the sense that I have not seen anyone using it for good prediction and as far as I am concerned, I am doing so for the first time.”

“I saw the horoscope of Libya which I never ever used for any prediction and like for so many western Asian countries, are taken from Campion’s book, for the very first time for understanding the problem being discussed by the media.” (21 Feb 2011)

I have generally found Mr.Campion’s data correct in most cases though the birth time would need some correction. I have not been that doing recently as my knowledge of international law and history is not up to date. I had studied these subjects for many years. Nor have I any intention of doing it now when the international scenario have been changing very fast.

Considering the events in Libya, what I predicted about Libya will come out correct on the horoscope I have used but the time frame will change as the rectified time will change. I will do that later.  But I will say it to the credit of Mr.Campion, that he takes pains to produce generally reliable data and I have no reason to change it here unless I find my prediction going totally wrong. That is not the case. The predicted time frame will get modified. I have accepted my failures in the past also and in this case I need not do it as my prediction is yet to fail.

Timeline

*** I wrote that piece before 22 February 2011.

*** Then came the resolution of Arab League demanding enforcement of no fly zone

on 12 March.2011

*** The UN resolution on 17- 19 March-2011 almost one month after I wrote that piece and

*** Events are moving towards deposition of Gaddafi inevitably.

*** Targeting Gaddafi is not the point in the UN Resolution but both Obama the US President and Cameron, the British PM have made it clear that Gaddafi must step down. No astrology is needed now in view of the tremendous military superiority of coalition forces attacking Libyan army and Gaddafi. The inevitable result is what can be seen--- deposition of Gaddafi which is what I had predicted on an unrectified horoscope. It can be violent end of Gaddafi or some negotiated terms about which Hillary Clinton has already spoken.

Rumors
In the meantime two rumors, one raising humor and the other unconfirmed are: The first rumor is about Gaddafi being captured.

@Rathbone No we do not have any such news.by Reuters Anuja Jaiman at 3/24/2011 2:59:09 AM 8:29 AM

Has Reuters been able to the confirm Gaddafi's capture as reported by Abdoul-Haziz?

Abdoul-Haziz Ahmed --- comment by Abdoul-Haziz at 3/24/2011

The other about the son of Gaddafi is unconfirmed.
For the sins of his father: Gaddafi's son killed in kamikaze pilot attack on barracks'-- By Richard Hartley-Parkinson -- Last updated at 2:15 AM on 22nd March 2011

Claims sixth son Khamis, leader of crack loyalist unit, died of burn wounds Gaddafi's whereabouts remain unknown after attack on his compound Khamis, 27, who runs the feared Khamis Brigade that has been prominent in its role of attacking rebel-held areas, is said to have died on Saturday night. A Libyan air force pilot crashed his jet into the Bab al-Aziziya compound in Tripoli in a kamikaze attack, Algerian TV reported following an unsubstantiated claim by an anti-Gaddafi media organization.

Khamis is alleged to have died of burns in hospital. The regime denied the reports. It was claimed he died in the same compound hit by RAF cruise missiles hit by coalition forces last night. Loyalists have been photographed with shrapnel from the missile that struck the building and throughout the day there has been no information on Gaddafi's whereabouts.

New Year 2011
The New Hindu Year horoscope for Libya, 2011, not being discussed here, will prove worse.

Who are the losers and winners so far?
The biggest loser is Gaddafi who is facing twin attack of coalition forces and Libyan rebels. Worst of it is that in the big propaganda war, he is being portrayed only as an eccentric, repressive autocrat and accumulator of vast wealth like Mubarak of Egypt or Ali of Tunisia. The brighter side of Gaddafi has not been referred to at all. Gaddafi is a patriot, nationalist, anti-terror, and a benefactor of his nation. He has given jobs to Libyans and thousands of Asians. Women go to school in Libya and the secularism of Gaddafi has not been appreciated. The west destroyed secular Iraq under Saddam and supported fundamentalist regimes, undemocratic in structure. Now they are bent on destroying Gaddafi and they will succeed.

What must be remembered that if last century was the era of colonial rule, twenty first century is the era of economic fascism of the west and the hurry of France, England and Italy to intervene in Libya is dictated by their urgent economic needs and not any humanitarian considerations.

The oil rich Arab world should remember a great act of Gaddafi.

“Before Qaddafi came to power in 1969, a barrel of oil was 40 American cents. He launched a campaign to withhold Arab oil unless the West paid more for it. I think the price went up to $20 per barrel. When the Arab-Israel war of 1973 broke out, the barrel of oil went up to $40. I am; therefore, surprised to hear that many oil producers in the world, including the Gulf countries, do not appreciate the historical role played by Qaddafi on this issue. The huge wealth many of these oil producers are enjoying was, at least in part, due to Qaddafi’s efforts.” (Yoweri Museveni: President of Uganda.)

The opinion of Museveni is important at this juncture because in the tempest of propaganda by the western press, Gaddafi is being presented only as a villain.

Transits
Between March 27 and 3 April Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Mercury and Moon will be in unhelpful eighth house (Meena) of Libyan horoscope apart of some unfavorable dasha periods connected to the twelfth house showing foreign involvement.

Events will happen in weeks, not months.

Yemen
The prediction about Yemen was “But the Rahu pratyantar from April to September 2011 seems to be the period of explosive change.

Apart from daily reports of protestors being killed the more disturbing news for Saleh of Yemen is:

1. Saleh who has for decades played one tribe against another by supplying them arms secretly had described his task of governing Yemen as “dance on the head of cobras.” Now he has been exposed and the tribal loyalty is said to have weakened.

2. Army commanders are with protesters now.

3. Many ambassadors have resigned and have identified with the cause of protestors.

4. Saleh who had promised to step down at the end of his term has now declared that he would step down at the end of this year.

5. Yet violent incidents have been increasing on the basis of which the present explosive situation in the pratyantar dasha of Mars will become more uncontrollable in that of Rahu.

In such a situation Saleh may have to go even earlier than the announced date.
