WITHERING AWAY OF CONGRESS PARTY
Is ours an ideal democracy!! Hardly so, it is far from being an ideal democracy; where there should be  two equal opponents, like Conservative and Labour party in Britain; like Republican and Democratic party in USA. As for India, for the two major parties here i.e. Congress and BJP there has never been a state of relative equilibrium. There was a time when Congress was all powerful for a long time, BJP had not come into existence then. BJP came into existence and gradually spread its wings and the status now of present election result on 23 May 2019 is that BJP alone bagged 303 seats and 353 seats along with its NDA Alliance. Congress on the other hand could muster only 52 seats; along with UPA, Congress got 91. Other parties won 98 seats. What to talk of equality, Congress party could not win even 55 seats which is the requisite 10 % to become the official opposition. Číst více...Číst více...

Congrats, Shri K N Rao

Respected Shri K N Rao,
Your observations on the solar eclipse on Star News the other day were highly informative, educative and enlightening. What impressed me most was your honest, crusading spirit and zeal to erase mental blocks, prejudices and social rituals observed by Indians on such occasions.

You have rightly debunked Ponga Pandits who exploit the peoples ignorance for their commercial ends. It is this class of fake pandits who have brought bad name to Hinduism and

its scientific Vedic teachings. I honestly believe that your contribution in promoting scientific approach of our ancient knowledge in astronomy and astrology ought to be written in golden words.

Thank you very much, Mr Rao. Star News needs to be complimented for its departure from the beaten track of most Indian channels.

Warm regards,
Hari Jaisingh

Respected Sir,
The day your programme was televised, I received many calls from my friends to switch on T.V. and watch Star News immediately to hear you speak on the Solar Eclipse.

Your TALK was an eye-opener anddispelled many of the doubts and misnomers about the Solar Eclipse. One of my friends was quite scared after listening to some Ponga Pundits {excuse me but cant suppress a hearty laugh} the effects of the Eclipse on different Zodiac Signs. She was very much relieved after listening to yours and Manoj Pathaks talk.

After watching many T.V. shows and reading Newspapers, I felt that there was an overwhelming response and eagerness to watch the eclipse through special glasses or using some other technique. Shortage of special glasses in the market confirmed this.

Such was the impact of your valuable talks on General public and especially the pregnant women must have been quite relieved and relaxed.

Still there are many RUDHIVAADIES, who do not want to learn the lesson and move on and let go; And for most of us astrologers, who have not studied Astrology systematically, especially the Mundane Astrology and those who have been predicting the effects of Eclipses on Zodiac signs repetitively ever year, your Talks were academically enlightening.

With best regards,
Urmil
