With attacks on the susceptible Western Frontier, borders of India kept-shrinking. There came some very powerful communities in the West. Afghanistan which was a part of India once upon a time, it became a separate country; it no longer remained a part of India. Then started a string of attacks from Afghanistan on India. There is a long list of invaders who came from Afghanistan to invade India; some ofthem are cited in the appendix attached.

How is it that Afghanistan invaded India so many times and Afghanistan was not attacked as many times. When theft is committed, it is committed in the rich man's house. India has always been known to be a very rich country whereas it was not the case with Afghanistan. When Afghanistan is not a rich country, where is the question to invade it?

As for India, it was known as 'Sone ki Chidiya' meaning 'The golden bird' as there was so much wealth in our country especially our temples which were loaded with riches due to our very rich cultural tradition of donations. Till 1792, India was the richest country ofthe world, that is the prime reason why it has been invaded by so many countries; the biggest looter of course has been Britain. As per an estimate by economist Utsa Patnaik, Britishers looted 45 Trillion dollars from India. After the Britishers established their empire in India, no other invader could come here and there was no incentive left for the others to come and loot India as all the lootable material had been looted by the biggest looters of the world.

Another reason why Afghanistan was not invaded and destroyed is its mountainous terrain which is very difficult to handle by the outsiders. The Afghani tribes and occupants know the in and out of this terrain but it is very easy to get lost in the puzzle like terrain. That is why specially Panj shir' in Afghanistan remains unconquerable.

If you look at the list of invaders who came from Afghanistan, to loot India, it is a long list. After Afghanistan came under Islamic influence, it had religious motivation also in looting; the invaders looted, loaded all the money and precious stuff to take back home; then they killed incessantly; broke temples indiscriminately to show the supremacy of their religion. There were also the invaders who came and stayed in India, their dynasties ruled over parts of India for years together.

One reason clearly understood and explained is that when India was not united; when it was not one united nation as such but a congeries of nations; that proved to be a curse for India through out hi story. That proved to be the Gateway for the entry of Mughals and other invaders before them.

During Ashokan times, no one attacked India. Again once Mughals came and established themselves in India, with Mughals strong, no one else had the courage to invade India. On the other hand, Aurangzeb was sent by Shahj ahan to invade Afghanistan; that also after seeing the muhurata.

Mughals followed Hindu astrology for their major decisions and Shahj ahan consulted astrologers for proper muhurata. Ample evidences can be quoted from the namas for the reliance on muhurata; I am quoting only the relevant one here.

On the night of Monday, the 18th of Rabi ul awwal, being the moment that had been fixed for the auspicious departure to Kabul, the royal train moved from the capital of Lahore in that direction. At the same chosen period, too, His Majesty despatched 'Allami with the multitudinous forces (resembling the waves of the sea), amounting together with the army serving in Kabul to 50,000 cavalry and 10,000 infantry, including musketeers, gunners, bombardiers and rocketmen, for the purpose of conquering the country and fortress of Kandahar, Bust and Zamindawar. [Pg 105, Shahjahan Nama]

All the invasions were possible during the times when India was disunited. During the times of Ashoka and then during the Mughal times too, there were no outside invasions; it was in the postMughal times that the invasions started from Afghanistan.
On the whole it has been good for India that Afghanistan remained on the Northern border as buffer between the invading armies and India. On the whole it has been a blessing, maybe a historical verdict.

During World War Il, the British Indian forces also decided not to disturb Afghanistan to prevent the advance of Soviet Russia. That acted as a bulwork. This is the peculiar history ofAfghani Stan; sometimes we admire it and sometimes we resent it but it is a fact that Afghanistan has acted as a protective cover.

Afghanistan and India has always had strong love and strong hate relations. Britishers also allowed Afghanistan to stay there as a big barrier, to prevent Soviet invaders. But, as it happens in history, today's blessing can become tomorrow's curse.

During the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, it was a communist Russia way back. By encouraging Afghanistan to act against Soviet invasion, President Jimmy Carter (generally described as a Liberal President) and Pakistan's Zia-ul-Haq encouraged Muslims to go back to the Sharia; fanatics were developed. Jehadis were sent to fight against Soviet Russia. This definitely prevented Soviet invasion very successfully.

There are times that Americans can go to any extent to encourage men and women. How Afghan girls turned Afghan young men into fanatics to save the country is believable. They bared their chests and told their men, 'it is for you and not for the Soviets'. This is how the men turned fanatics and it went on.

Astrologically it was predicted by our esteemed Guruji Shri K. N. Rao Sir that Afghanistan would become like Vietnam I quote from revered Guruji's article "The United States is a Leading Terrorist State says Noam Chomsky" written on 7 November 2014  https://www.j ournal ofastrol ogy. com/ article.php?article id=479

Zbigniew Brzezinski and Carter aided the Islamic fundamentalists in their now well known conspiracy against the Soviet Union in 1979: Saudi Arabiaprovided both thephilosophy of Wahhadism and petro dollars: Pakistan provided along with some ther Muslim countries jihadis and training ground during the time of Ziaul Huq of Pakistan and USA both thefinancial aid and training under the CIA. The choice was the evil of Muslim fundamentalism and what they thought was the danger of USSR holding sway in Afghanistan and threatening to spread over other regions in west Asia.

USA has no regrets for this and now it itself has to become a victim of its own vicious policies as it did on Il September 2001 once and may become a greater victim in future years. It can be seen astrologically.

First see the Hindu New Year horoscope of USA for the year 1979. Then see the Hindu New Year horoscope of USSR for 1979. Finally, see the horoscope of USA of 1776 with Simha lagna and its Chaiurthamsha.

Mars, the seventh lord of war and the twelfth lord of foreign countries aspecied by Saturn was to become a main policy of USSR involving it in Afghanistan so much as to become its Vietnam and finally the reason for its collapse.

Navamsha
The tenth lord in the twelfth house and the twelfth lord in the second house with seventh lord of war and sixth lord Jupiter was the deepest involvement of USSR in the quagmire of Afghanistan.

US went on fighting but never succeeded. Afghanis are terrible fighters. They fight till the end and if they are inspired by their slogan 'Islam in danger' , they become fierce. When Afghanis hear that, they are willing to do anything.

But fortunately for Soviet Union, it lost this Communist status and became liberal.

Result was that Afghanistan became free from the fear of attack.

Now, what about Taliban! Taliban, that was created by USA felt deserted. USA just left them and went away. Anger of Afghanistan was at its peak against America and it created a Big Taliban force. They invaded USA under Osama Bin Laden and Twin Tower trajedy took place. Same forces which were created and used by USA against Soviet Union, now turned against USA. This is the irony of hi story.

There are so many instances of Afghanistan attacking India. Absolutely opposite to that are the instances of India aiding Afghanistan in so many ways. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Afghan Parliament House in 2015, made by India at a cost of 90 million dollars. India helped Afghanistan renovate Stor Palace at a massive cost; Salma Dam to irrigate thousands of hectares of land was also a gift from India. In all India has put around 3 million dollars in Afghanistan. Partly it has been the strategy of India to keep Pakistan away from Afghanistan. Because of this strategy, India will not allow Pakistan and Afghanistan to come together.

But now, with Taliban occupying Afghanistan, what will be the future of India and Afghanistan relations because it is clear that fanatic Taliban, in all likelihood, will lean towards Pakistan. It is not possible to stipulate at this moment how the relations between India and Taliban occupied Afghanistan will be in future. But, it is clear that Afghanistan will be antagonistic to India, as Taliban has come there; unless it successfully follows the peaceful foreign policy which is almost impossible.
