KASHMIR (Updated)
Today, 5 August 2019 has become a historic day in our history as something which could not be done in 70 years has taken shape now. He also announced that Jammu and Kashmir will no longer be a state and it will be bifurcated into two Union Territories— Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.  read more...read more...
WITHERING AWAY OF CONGRESS PARTY
Is ours an ideal democracy!! Hardly so, it is far from being an ideal democracy; where there should be  two equal opponents, like Conservative and Labour party in Britain; like Republican and Democratic party in USA. As for India, for the two major parties here i.e. Congress and BJP there has never been a state of relative equilibrium. There was a time when Congress was all powerful for a long time, BJP had not come into existence then. BJP came into existence and gradually spread its wings and the status now of present election result on 23 May 2019 is that BJP alone bagged 303 seats and 353 seats along with its NDA Alliance. Congress on the other hand could muster only 52 seats; along with UPA, Congress got 91. Other parties won 98 seats. What to talk of equality, Congress party could not win even 55 seats which is the requisite 10 % to become the official opposition. read more...read more...

BOTH WIN FEDERER AND DJOKOVIC: ONE THE HEART AND THE OTHER WIMBLEDON 2014

Mocking at us as though, in the twilight of his glorious career, Federer rose to great heights in the Wimbledon final on the night of 6 July 2014 surprising and mesmerizing his opponent Djokovic against whom he had a head to head 18-16 record. And it was as though we were watching Federer of 2004 or 2005, a ballet dancer on a lawn tennis court.

Had Federer won this grand slam, it would have been a fairy tale stuff---winning the first set, losing the second, the third and trailing 2-5 in the fourth with Djokovic on set point. He had won the junior’s title here in 1998 and in the last twelve years starting from 2002 he had been the emperor of Wimbledon as none ever before had been. Those in the Royalty box were his admirers clapping for him in a chorus as though Djokovic was a boorish upstart.  The score recorded is  6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 5-7, 6-4 in favour of Djokovic and that was the fairy tale. It should have been 6-7,6-4,7-6 and 6-2  in favour of Djokovic the game ending in four sets and the stuff of the fairy tale would have been absent. There would have been no fairy tale of ageing Federer then. Djokovic’s lead was so large, it was slipping away, Federer was becoming resurgent and Wimbledon was rollicking. Last set, the score is 4-4, Djokovic serves and wins the game, it is 5-4. The last game Federer serves. It begins sloppily and Djokovic leads 30-0 and soon the score is 40-10 in favour of Djokovic.A clumsy backhand return of Federer is the anti climax of a memorable fight back. Djokovic ate the grass and the dust of Wimbledon as he had done when he had when he won it earlier in 2011 and Federer shed a tear drop.

Federer is the father of two sets of twins, is 32 years old, not an age to win a Wimbledon. He was chasing his eighteenth grand slam --an elusive goal I thought but then I looked at his horoscope once again after my prediction of 2009 of his decline which did happen.

I looked at the Vimshottari mahadasha . It was Mercury-Sun-Rahu all in the twelfth house, clearest indication of a loss ---but then he seemed to be winning !! How was he playing so brilliantly almost capturing the eighteenth grand slam title of his career !! In the Chara dasha it was Makara Makara from where theAmatyakaraka was in the eighth house. But it was the pratyantara of Mesha fromAmatyakaraka in the fifth house was aspecting the tenth house. The elusive grandeur of an eigh- teenth title could be in his grasp. From Mesha, Mars is in the third house and Saturn in the sixth house. Federer, the ferocious fighter, rose to rare heights and won the fourth set which he was losing , trailing 2-5 with Djokovic running away having won the second and third sets. Would Federer win it and after 2-2 sets each have the stamina to fight the final set with the same ferocity ? But I knew, having watched him other recent grand slams, losing that aura of invincibility which has deserted him. He still had sparkling range of shots, brilliant backhand, easy coverage of the court in quick strides and was serving aces like the young Federer of 2003-2005.

Djokovic won the second and the third set and was leading 5-2 in the fourth set . I looked at the score but had some guests to attend to. I missed something, the crowds were roaring, Federer was jumping joyously and soon I found that from that losing position Federer had won the fourth set!! Two sets all, Djokovic, unlucky in last three finals, must have been seeing glory of a much awaited victory slipping away.

Federer was passing through the Chara dasha of  Makara Makara Mesha from 9 June 2014 to 8 July 2014 an excellent period as from the pratyantara dasha of Mesha,Amatyakaraka was aspecting the tenth house.

Transits of the day were enigmatic, particu- larly the janma Moon phenomenon as transit Moon was on his birth Moon of Federer, not a period of glory but an agony. In the astakvarga transit, though it is the third house, is weak. Mars, the fighter too was weak in astakavarga transit and Saturn, like Moon , conjoining it was the story of glory slipping from his grasp finally. It happened as was visible. He won the fourth set most surprisingly and Djokovic was seeing doom once again, as he had seen in six grand slam finals and three of them consecutively.

Djokovic
I then decided to look at the horoscope of Djokovic, now available in Rodden data bank. Was it correct ? Remember that Djokovic had lost three finals in a row and five of his past six. That was dogging misfortune. Will it happen again today and break his dour competitive spirit ? But I do not have enough events of the life of Djokovic to verify and now, watching the play, could not , even if I had or someone had passed them on to me. I would do it after the match was over , I decided and got two bits of information. The first that his girl friend whom he was going to marry on July 9, 2014 was pregnant and would deliver a baby in October or November
2014.

It is reported that Djokovic had been dating Miss Ristic for around eight years. It then should be Mercury Rahu Venus in the fifth house. At right age, in this age of liberal sex and pre marital sex, the dasha of the seventh lord is the dasha of dating, not merelymarriage. The child is going to be born in Ketu-Rahu and the pratyantara dasha of either Venus in the fifth house of the birth horoscope or Sun the fifth lord of the saptamsha. Karka Meena period in Chara dasha with the Putrakaraka , Moon in Meena, is all right and convincing then.

According a research I have not disclosed Sun in Federer Horoscoptransit will be in Tula between 4 and 8 degrees or 12 and 17 degrees then. I can accept the horoscope.

Some features of the horoscope of Djokovic are to be noted:
1) Seven planets get associated with the tenth house and its lord.
2) The six-twelve axis involving the third lord is that indomitable fighter we know Djokovic to be.
3) In the navamsha the third house has two malefics and the third lord with Saturn and there is the exchange of the lagna and the tenth lords.
4) In the dashamansha the third lord is in his own house aspected by Saturn and Sun.

Djokovic Horoscop

Finally, putting the navamsha of the Atmakaraka in the birth horoscope which is the Karakamsha what do you see for it to be the horoscope of the player of an artistic game?

Djokovic will fight back and not give up a match so easily even from a losing position.

Coming back to the victory of Djokovic and the dramatic twists to the match making it memo- rable what was there in the horoscope of Djokovic to make it so easy and yet so difficult a victory.?

Djokovic was passing through Karka dasha in Chara dasha from whereAmatyakaraka is in the ninth house and antardasha was Meena withAmaty- akaraka in it and again excellent. But then why was the game slipping away from his grip from an enviable 5-2 lead in the fourth set ? The pratyantara explains because it is Simha from where theAmaty- akaraka falls in the eighth house. But then go to the fourth level and it Kumbha and later Meena.

NOTE: In all matches which I have watched I have always looked at the fourth level of the dasha running to find out the ultimate level of perfor- mance and the result. So Djokovic would fight back I decided, watched the match and he did win it in a way as convinced no one because he was losing a match which he had almost won in the fourth set.

Go to the fourth level of the Vimshottari dasha of Djokovic and it is Ketu, in the tenth house,  Rahu in the fourth house, Saturn the third lord of fight in the twelfth house, not favourable but the fourth level is again Ketu in the tenth
house. That was the ultimate swing, winning, winning, losing and finally winning much to his relief and to the relief of his fiance whom he is to marry two days after and the baby waiting to be born in October.

Federer
Apply the same fourth level to the horoscope of Federer and it is Kumbha and then Meena from where Atmakaraka falls in the eighth house and the Amatyakaraka in the sixth house. Fight well but ultimately fall---the inference was clear.

The fourth level of the Vimshottari dasha of Federer is again Mercury in the twelfth house. It is the ultimate story of the game slipping away from his grasp. And this match became memorable---Federer losing the match in the
fourth set would have not be a romantic story. Djokovic losing the fourth final consecutively would have been a tragic story.

The story did not become tragic. Federer losing two sets and trailing 2-5 in the fourth set with Djokovic on set point and then serving an ace making it all a thrilling romance is the crux, the essence of the match. It became romantic.
