History repeats, not exactly. On 14th of Feb people celebrate Valentines Day & after 9 months on 14th of November people celebrate childrens day is an old joke. But because of some drug using lovers the holy spirit of Saint Valentine may be crying. This article is related to a modern challenge we astrologers are facing.
Last year Dr X contacted me regarding the delayed child birth. He is a post graduate in medical science & his wife is also a medical practitioner.
The birth details of Dr.X are, 1-4-1966, 15-49 hrs. Lagna is Leo 6deg-14min & Moon in Cancer 21deg-45min-21seconds. His wife Dr Y's birth details are 18-6-1971, 13-14hrs, and Virgo ascendant 13deg-8 min-42 seconds.
In Rasi chart of husband Jupiter being the 5th lord & natural significator of the children in 11th house aspecting the 5th which has 39 Sarvashtaka Varga points cannot deny the child birth, the minor problem is the aspect of Mars on Jupiter. In Saptamsha Jupiter in the 10th with the 11th lord Moon without any affliction is really good. Jaimini Putrakaraka (signifying child) Sun has produced rajayoga with Darakaraka (signifying spouse) Jupiter.
Vimshottari Sun dasa is capable of giving child as he is the Putrakaraka of Jaimini system & occupied the 5th house in Navamsha chart. In the horoscope of wife Jupiter is afflicted by Saturn in Rasi chart & 5th is afflicted by two malefics. In Navamsha & Saptamsha, Jupiter who is the Putrakaraka of Jaimini system is terrifically afflicted. So I asked him “is your wife’s egg not allowing your semen.” He said ‘yes her egg is very hard” is the medical reason for not becoming mother.
Then he asked me whether any good yoga for adoption is indicated. Also he asked me whether I can select any child of any ashram by using astrology. I told him that I cannot help in that case as the birth details of such children are not reliable. But I told him that he is having good combination's to become a biological father for some more time. He just told me to not to joke with him. Yes he is a very good person by nature. So I told him to trust the God & instead of going for adoption I advised him to go for other alternatives.

Yesterday he called me to cast the horoscope of a male child born on 5-2-2009 at 10-49 hrs. I am not revealing the place of birth for many reasons but the lagna is Meena, 29deg-49min. He revealed that after mutual agreements one lady agreed to become the surrogate mother of this baby & he implanted his own semen & wife’s egg with modern genetic technology. It was planned in a perfect way to tell the people as it is a case of adoption. I told him to reveal the background of the surrogate mother as without them I cant tell the future of the new born baby. I asked whether Dr. X can give the horoscope of the surrogate mother. He told the lady became a widow 5 years back, she is not much educated, poor & horoscope doesnt exist at all.

In Jaimini chara dasa it is Aqua-Libra. Jupiter falls in 5th from Aquarius & it is 9th pada.
The lord of Aquarius Saturn is with lord of Libra the 9th house from Aquarius, (5th from 5th) & both Venus as well as the Saturn aspect Libra through Jaimini angle. Like that we can analyze the horoscope of Dr.Y.
Many rules related to transit given in the book Planets & Children written by Shri K.N. Rao are applicable. The strange thing is that the same Jaimini chara dasa & bhukti influenced Dr.Y.
But is she the biological mother? One of my good personal predictions has proved correct. But when Dr. X asked about the ceremonies related to child I couldn't tell anything as the baby is born without any kind of sexual intercourse to a widow being the mother biologically & 16 samskaras of Hindus are very particular about such things. (for western people it can't make any major difference) Still I told him to go for the naming ceremony & other things.
Dr. X repeatedly told the baby was very healthy. He says it because of his professional background but I am an astrologer who can see the luck of baby at least to some extent. Look at the Moon in exaltation in Rasi chart but it is in 12th house for Kumbha lagna of Dwadasamsha (D-12) with nodal affliction. The 4th lord Venus of Dwadasamsha is aspected by two first rate malefics Mars & Saturn.
Soon after several hours of birth the baby is weaned without a single drop being consumed. The mother sacrificed her motherhood believing that the child will grow up in a rich family. From one angle it is really a great thing, since she helped a childless couple. But can we imagine a poor lady of India suppressing all the emotional pain in her heart along with the physical pain of not feeding the breast milk the nectar according to the modern science also? Can the modern science or the eternal India will help her to get rid of such things?
Soon after looking at the d-12 of the new born baby with wet eyes I automatically recited :
