Eclipsing Egypt , Syria suddenly became the focus of international news when it was reported that Assad’s forces had used some chemical weapons against the rebels which gives a chance to USA and UK to intervene , first through UN approval and if it does not succeed, directly as Bush and Blair had done in the case of Iraq after 2001. It then is the Bush moment of President Obama. What are the possibilities now in Syria of USA intervening and Obama, experiencing a Bush moment in his presidency in the second term, getting involved in a war in west Asia particularly in Syria? read more...
