TRAILANGA SWAMI - II
In 1810, Raja of Ujjain paid a visit to Kashi. He along with Kashi Naresh, was on a boat going towards Manikarnika ghat when he saw the shining figure of Swami sitting on water. On inquiry, he was told about the extra ordinary powers of the saint. The King was very impressed and as if sensing his wish to see him, Swami appeared on the boat. The King was glad and showed his extra ordinary bejeweled sword to him. The saint did not even think for a moment and threw the sword in water. When the King got in a fit of rage and grief, Swami put his hand in water and extracted two similar swords from the water. He asked the King to recognize his sword, which he obviously could not do. Swami told him sternly that he was troubled for the sword when he could not even recognize which one was his sword. That was his way to show him the futility of the physical attractions of the world. read more...read more...
JALLIANWALA BAGH MASSACRE
One year more than a century has passed, still no one has forgotten the brutality with which the atrocious killing at Jallianwala Bagh was carried out. Jallianwala Bagh is located at a distance of barely one and a half kilometers from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. On 13 Apr 1919, on the day of Baisakhi (an important Hindu festival) at 5:37 in the evening, when more than 10,000 people (some say there were 15,000 to 20,000) were gathered in the Jallianwala Bagh, acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer ordered to shoot at the unarmed, innocent public.

GEORGE FOREMAN

How do you describe a boxer who is a genuine preacher and formed his own church? In these modern times when boxers bite the ears of an opponent (Tyson) and show little grace in the ring, let us remember the great George

Foreman who is the only boxer to win a heavy weight title at the age of 45. An unbelievable feat in the world of sports. He is also the only boxer in the history to have won two world heavy weight titles in a gap of 20 years. (1974 & 1994)

Foreman was born on 10 January 1949, 21:15, Marshall, Texas
, USA and not even he would have ever dreamt of winning a title at the shocking late age of 45. Even in a sport like Cricket which requires little stamina, nobody hardly plays till the age of 45 (not even batsmen) and yet we have in history, a remarkable boxer who became world champion at the age of 45.

We will use a great dasha (Chara Dasha) in order to explain the greatness of a great sportsman and a preacher and firm believer in god.

George Foreman's Horoscope

One look at the horoscope and we can see the vargottam lagna and Sun and the 1st lord combining with the 10th lord to give world fame. As per Jaimini, it's the combination of AK, AMK and DK in the 5th house.

At this point let me deviate a bit and request readers to recall the horoscope of another dashing sportsman, Virendra Sehwag. Sehwag like Foreman has vargottam Leo Lagna and vargottam Sun, both have Saturn in lagna and exalted Moon in 10th and the 1st lord combining with the 10th lord and also the combination of AK, AMK and DK. (And still people say that there is no logic in jyotisha)

Foreman got his success in the dasha of a rashi (dhanu) that had AMK, AK and DK in it. Virendra Sehwag has got success in the dasha of a rashi (tula) that has AMK, AK, DK and PK in it.

For further similarity, let me remind the readers of two other horoscopes of great sportsman, the world famous footballer Pele and Ganguly both of whom have Leo Lagna
and exalted Moon in 10th. So we already have 4 great sportsmen (Foreman, Pele, Sehwag and Ganguly with Leo lagna and Moon exalted in 10th).

Those interested in research should observe the Saturn-Mars combination or opposition in the dasamsa of sports people.

Let us not deviate too much and come back to George Foreman. As mentioned by Shri K.N Rao, Dhanu is not only the rashi of fall but the rashi of rise too. Foreman got the chara dasha of Dhanu with not only AMK in it but with the AK and DK. Three Jaimini karkas and raja yoga givers combining together had to lift Foreman. Then Jupiter is in Dhanu so he got the dasha of AMK for full 12 years. No wonder he showed his greatness not just once but in many fights.

Let us also see the greatness of Jaimini astrology that during this same era, Muhammad Ali, the great boxer and a rival of Foreman also was running the period of the dasha of AMK for full 12 years. So both Foreman and Ali got AMK dasha of full 12 years.

Foreman got his first victory in 1969 and it co-insides with the beginning of the Dhanu dasha with AMK, AK and DK in it, but mainly AMK. Is it not a demonstration of the greatness of the chara dasha? Foreman fought like a champion boxer through the entire period of Dhanu. He fought 45 times and lost only twice. Once to Muhammad Ali and then to Jimmy Young.

In the next dasha of Capricorn (6th house) and will all those raja yogas karkas falling in the 12th house, Foreman retired.

In the dashas of Capricorn and Aquarius with AMK not influencing the 10th house, Foreman stayed away from boxing. But the next dasha of Pisces had the AMK, DK and AK in 10th. Three raja yoga giving Jaimini karkas in 10th house.

Foreman shocked the world by announcing his comeback. At the age of 45 he challenged Michael Moorer to the heavyweight title. The boxing world was shocked. No one gave Foreman a chance. But it was 1994 and the dasha of Pisces with AMK, AK and DK in 10th from it.

For 8 rounds Moorer outclassed Foreman but in the 10th, Foreman at age 45, the strongest boxer in history hit a devastating punch and it broke Moorer's mouth. Foreman regained the title he had lost to Muhammad Ali 20 years ago.

He went back to his corner and knelt in prayer as the arena erupted in cheers. With this historic victory, Foreman broke two records: he became, at age of 45, the oldest fighter ever to win the world heavyweight crown; and, 20 years after losing his title for the first time, he broke the record for the fighter with the longest interval between one world championship and the next. (The CNN has described it has the greatest moment in the history of sport.)

The sports lovers and experts will never know that god gave George Foreman at the age of 45, the best chara dasha of his life, with the AMK, AK and DK in 10th.

In between his great achievements in the field of sports, let us remember Foreman for his great belief in god, as a preacher giving credit to god for all his achievements and forming the church in 1981(in dasha of Rahu in 9th).

Let us not forget the importance of exalted Moon in 10th not only in case of Foreman but also Pele, Sehwag and Ganguly and the humility of a strong 12th lord to give all credit to God.

In January 2003, Foreman was elected to the International Boxing Hall of Fame, where he was inducted in June. That same year, he was named one of boxing's greatest puncher of all time by Ring Magazine.

Foreman has named all his five sons George. He has joked that naming all five of his sons George was because: "In this career, you have to prepare for long term brain damage."

Let us remember George Foreman, one of the greatest sportsmen of all time and a firm believer in God and let us remember the power of the Jaimini karkas and greatness of the chara dasha.
