Dravid’s achievements in the world of cricket were sort of overshadowed by the presence of so many greats in the Indian team but no one could ever think of leaving him out of the team. Such was his aura that he had virtually become indispensable for the cricketing world, be it any form of cricket. In 1999, Glenn McGrath is believed to have been said if there was one Indian player who would get an automatic entry into an Australian team filled with stars, it would be Rahul Dravid. How many times have we been told that mere combination of Sun and Jupiter in a horoscope creates rajlakshana yoga and here in his chart, we find, Sun and Jupiter together and that too with lord of Kendra and trikona and importantly we have five planets in the tenth house from Moon with all those planets aspecting his tenth house.

Acknowledge the fact now that the Congress party has no leader with a charisma, no star but sycophantic starlets dancing round the dynasty and portraying it as faultless. Two other factors ail this party: the first is the ailment of Sonia Gandhi described as undisclosed but everyone says privately that it is cancer. The more damaging, the other factor is the news circulating of her being the fourth richest politician of the world. The fall of the dynasty is also explainable. If the post of the prime minister is treated by Rahul Gandhi as his personal sinecure it hurts people deeply. It is his immature manner and his failure to deal with the universal corruption gumming up India’s political, bureaucratic and business activities that should be said to the main reason for the dismal failure of the dynasty in recent elections.read more...

Nine months ago, Sri Srikant Sharma came to me and asked me to give predictions for the elections of 2019 just as I had for 2014 elections and surprised everyone by predicting the victory of BJP. This is what Anju refers to here. Anju Sachdev is with K Vikram Rao and 13 others.

MAGNANIMOUS WIN NDA with 352 seats, BJP with its own majority of 303, this is a historic win when second time consecutive a non-Congress party has come up with a clear majority. It is much more than the score of 2014, when NDA got 336 and BJP alone got 282. Congress could bag only 92 seats this time.

The major problem the government will
face this summer is water scarcity and water riots.
