The late S.K. Kelkar of Pune had taken up around forty or fifty cases of marriages performed when Jupiter was in Simha and found nothing wrong. A conference of astrologers was held sometime in 1990 in Delhi and it was unanimously decided by astrologers that based on their experience there was nothing wrong in performing marriages during this period. Certain questions arise which our politicians never want to face and answer it all being opportunistic politics.
a) Are those who can capture political power and suppress and even oust upper classes from the corridors of power socially backward?
b) Many of the backward classes of earlier decades, now well educated and in high positions in bureaucracy and politics socially and educationally backward ?What awaits the nation then ? The question is pertinent because the coming mahadasha of Moon shows some remarkable achievements in space and other scientific areas but in the socio-economic sphere with huge political repercussions, it is an ill augury for national peace. read more...

I got the horoscope of President Putin from respected Shri K. N. Rao Sir. He told me an interesting story when way back he had gone to Russia in the years 1998 and 1999. In 1999 when he reached Russia and on the airport, wanted a trolley for his luggage, he gave dollars but the person refused to accept that; he had to go and exchange the same for roubles first. This was not the case in the previous year 1998 and dollars were accepted everywhere. Shri K. N. Rao Sir asked Karine and Boyco, the couple who had arranged the trip, as to what was going on. Karine explained that there was a very strong and efficient man under President Boris Yeltsin who was managing everything and this must be the order of that man called Vladimir Putin. Putin was trying to control the terrible economic situation. Nowhere in Moscow the dollars were accepted that year.
Russians are generally well versed in national and international affairs, more than Indians. In the class that day, when Sir was about to teach something else, they asked a question about their pitiful economy and how long the condition would last in Russia. Sir told them not to worry, they would overcome this situation very soon and in three years would not even remember this.
The prediction came out true. Karine and Boyco from Russia, wrote a letter to him, acknowledging and appreciating his prediction; letter was printed in the Vishakhapatnam paper of Shri K. N. Rao Sir in 2010 [Appendix I]
He was told in the class that President Boris Yeltsin was always drunk and did not care for the nation. It was this man Putin who was taking responsibility.
On asking for the birth details of Putin he was given the date 7 Oct 1952, place Leningrad, but a very rough time of birth between 3 to 4 pm was given. Shri K. N. Rao Sir rectified his time of birth.
He enquired if Putin had any connection with law and he was informed that Putin was a lawyer. Vrishchika lagna was settled where, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, all required for education in law connect with his 5H/L. His 5H is aspected by Mars and Saturn; his 5L Jupiter is in the 6H of disputes and court cases making clear that he studied law. It was his Jupiter-Mars dasha running and it was clear that he would be able to control the situation. Jupiter and Mars, his trinal lords placed at 5/ 9 position, in exchange with each other, would help him. The next antardasha of Rahu was also helpful being in kendra from Jupiter. Obviously chart of Russia and other charts were also seen for the purpose of prediction.
He served as the Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000 and stood for the post of President in 2000 and won easily. It was dasha chidra of Jupiter-Rahu; both in kendra from each other; Rahu in the rashi of Saturn, the 4L placed in 11H of gains. He carried on for two terms till 2008. Maximum number of terms served as President could only be two in a row at that time.
Henceforth, he supported Medvedev and endorsed him as President. Dmitry Medvedev in turn announced to appoint Putin as Prime Minister if he won. The arrangement worked; Medvedev won and gave Putin the influential position of Prime Minister which he served from 2008 to 2012.
After four years, Putin could come as President again and yes with Medvedev as Prime Minister; some interesting way of returning favours.
The Americans wanted that he should lose; but he had strong dasha of Saturn. Saturn in the 11H conjunct with 10L Sun; he won easily. Since then he has been at the privileged seat in Russia.
Constitutional reforms were carried out in 2020 to suit the convenience of President, there is no limit to the number of terms same person can serve as President now. After all the maneuvering, there is talk of the Russian President stepping down next year.

All the above news and moves by the President point towards his retirement. We have to see that the Saturn dasha is coming to an end. Dasha chidra is on and he is supposedly suffering from Parkinsons. A very active man, a Judo black belt, Sambo master, a good swimmer, this man has to face the music of the dashas now.
With dasha chidra of Saturn-Jupiter where both dasha lords are at 6/8 position; retrograde Jupiter is placed in 6H of diseases, in exchange with 6L Mars. Aspect of 8L Mercury and 7L cum 12L Venus is not making it any better. Combination of 6 and 8 shows a chronic disease. Jupiter as 5L which is 8th from the 10th is aspected by both 8L and 12L showing the end of career.
In char dasha Meena-Vrishchika; Meena is the dasha of 5H (eighth from tenth house) aspected by three malefics viz. Saturn Amk, Sun BK and Mars GK. The 10 pada is slipping to the 8H along with 12 pada. He is running the antar of Vrishchika which is his lagna and also his Karakamsha lagna, from where his AK Jupiter is ill-placed in the 6H.
With Mercury mahadasha round the corner, starting from December of this year, the stage is all set for his retirement. Mercury is the 8L placed in 12H of retirement conjunct with 12L Venus. In navamsha, Mercury is in 8H. Again Mercury is in 8H of dashmansha as 4L cum 7L, showing the difficult time in the offing.
