As usual, journalists in the print and television media rushed to astrologers to ask what would be the effect of the passage of Venus across the bright disk of Sun on 8 June 2004. The mention of his name for presidential election made me dig out his horoscope from my records. One noting there is that the marriage of his daughter was fixed for December 1987. More important, his wife (born in 1938), Smt. Geeta (Suvra) Mukherji is a singer of Rabindra Sangeet. I checked to see if she would become the first lady after her husband becomes the president of India. The answer was positive. The date of marriage noted was 13 July 1957. Mr. Mukherji is the fourth child of his parents with two sisters and one brother elder to him and three sisters younger. Mrs. Mukherji is the first child of her parents and has a younger brother.
Before understanding why the uneasy and tragic year of
India will continue to torment us let it be kept in the mind that Mars is to

MUMBAI: Indian stock market slipped below the trillion-dollar level in terms of
total valuation of all listed companies on Tuesday morning, as downward
pressure continued on rupee and share prices. Rupee touched its all-time low
level of Rs 61.51 against the US dollar in early trade and the stock market
also lost further ground with a fall of over one per cent in the benchmark
Sensex. As a result, the total market capitalisation of all listed stocks in
the country fell to nearly $992 billion (close to Rs 60.9 lakh crore), pushing
India out of the elite global league of markets having a trillion-dollar
valuation.

Shakti IAS has been given a terrible communal angle by the Samajwadi Party
which is competing with the Congress party to capture Muslim votes in the
coming general elections and deprive the Congress party of this chunck of what
it has regarded as its traditional vote bank for decades.

Between different communities and also the conflicts
between the two sects of Muslims, Shias and Sunnis as it has already in Lucknow
in the month of Ramzan.
3) There is a clear indication of some tragedies,
assasinations and national mourning also in this period.
