The late S.K. Kelkar of Pune had taken up around forty or fifty cases of marriages performed when Jupiter was in Simha and found nothing wrong. A conference of astrologers was held sometime in 1990 in Delhi and it was unanimously decided by astrologers that based on their experience there was nothing wrong in performing marriages during this period. Then in 2003 we published a book SIMHASTHA BRIHASPATI OR JUPITER IN LEO with seven women astrologers doing a research under my guidance by taking up as many 146 horoscopes of people married during Simhastha Brihaspati or Jupiter in Leo and the conclusions arrived at after an elaborate analysis was as given here from that book.. read more...

Certain questions arise which our politicians never want to face and answer it all being opportunistic politics.
a) Are those who can capture political power and suppress and even oust upper classes from the corridors of power socially backward?
b) Many of the backward classes of earlier decades, now well educated and in high positions in bureaucracy and politics socially and educationally backward ?What awaits the nation then ? The question is pertinent because the coming mahadasha of Moon shows some remarkable achievements in space and other scientific areas but in the socio-economic sphere with huge political repercussions, it is an ill augury for national peace. read more...

The Surya veedhi charts of Mesha, Karka, Tula and Makar sankranti give an indication about the trend of events in the next three months. If we see the 17 July 2019 Karka Sankranti horoscope, we see concentration of planets on 1/8 and 2/7 axis and 6H. The prominent and striking features here are :
Jupiter aspect on Sun both in birth horoscope and navamsha with an aspect of Saturn also on Sun in the navamsha; no wonder from today (18 July 2019), the Ram janma bhoomi issue has come up with the Supreme court and regular hearing shall start from 2 August 2019. Now that general elections are over, no political party will have any excuse to get this case adjourned further. What will be the impact of the aspect of Saturn on Sun in navamsha will be known later, as in the final judgement, this aspect shows some delay.
Other important factor to be noticed is the 1/7 axis with Venus and Rahu in it; Saturn and Ketu in seventh house and four planets at 2/8 axis. Will the Triple Talaq case of Muslim women come up for legislation? In any case it is evident that the issue of marriage is becoming prominent here and in the Republican chart of 26 Jan 1950, in Jupiter-Venus period, this legislation seems imminent and inevitable now.
Of immediate interest to us is also the second house here, with Mars and retrograde Mercury aspected by retrograde Jupiter from the sixth house; whereby Jupiter is the seventh and tenth lord. The question is that will the tax raids go on incessantly for the next three months? Today (18 July 2019) TV channels have been showing prominently the tax raids on houses of UP Dalit leader Mayawati and two of her relatives. It is likely that this trend will continue for next few months. The opposition will cry and call it victimisation.
The judgement of the International Court of Justice on Kulbhushan Jadhav case is being hailed in both Pakistan and India as their victory. Kulbhushan has not been released to go to his motherland India, Pakistan calls it his victory. ICJ directive that Kulbhushan be retried has upset and reversed the proposed Pakistan line of prosecution. In any case, he has not been released for India to rejoice it as final justice. Kulbhushan and India can not get him back soon. Instead of debating as to whose victory or defeat it is, look at the stark fact that Kulbhushan has not come back to India as a free man.
The aspect of Saturn and Mars on the ninth house is clearly showing the trend of communal tension. Since independence of India, India’s policy makers have not taken a realistic historical view of the communal problem. It is the first time this week that PM Narendra Modi has referred to the problem, going to its roots. Muslim community in minority all over Europe has retained its identity and has not submerged in the mainstream. India’s TV channels have been recently showing series of illegal madarsas running in many states particularly UP, Rajasthan and MP, where Wahabi Islam is taught and propagated. This is the future danger. Add to this the reaction of nearly 20,000 NGOs rendered ineffective by the Modi government in its previous term. As a result whatever the leaders and spokesmen of other countries may say in praise of Narendra Modi and his government, there are forces in those countries which have been doing vicious propaganda against India.
Stopping the funding of NGOs by the last Modi government will continue in this term also as afflicted second house and second lord shows. Presence of second lord in eighth house is showing some secret methods still existing of funding these NGOs. In any case, opportunity will not be missed to spend, create and spread some scandals as the position of Moon shows.
