As usual, journalists in the print and television media rushed to astrologers to ask what would be the effect of the passage of Venus across the bright disk of Sun on 8 June 2004. What this phenomenon is can be understood if the distinction between lunar and solar eclipses and this phenomenon is kept in the mind. There is the role of Rahu/Ketu in lunar and solar eclipses while here all that happens is that Venus comes between the earth and Sun. Other planets may or may not join it as happens also in solar and lunar eclipses. So for the purpose of our discussion we can call it Venus-Sun Phenomenon or VSP.

WATCH HIM RISE: PRANAB MUKHERJI

The mention of his name for presidential election made me dig out his horoscope from my records. One noting there is that the marriage of his daughter was fixed for December 1987. More important, his wife (born in 1938), Smt. Geeta (Suvra) Mukherji is a singer of Rabindra Sangeet. I checked to see if she would become the first lady after her husband becomes the president of India. The answer was positive. The date of marriage noted was 13 July 1957. Mr. Mukherji is the fourth child of his parents with two sisters and one brother elder to him and three sisters younger. Mrs. Mukherji is the first child of her parents and has a younger brother.

FEAR OF WORLD WAR III

What is happening between USA and Iran is not a World war but it may develop into a major war and may be later into a World war. What we must always remember is that after the end of second World war in 1945, there have been at least three regional wars every ten years; mostly Asian and African countries have been involved whereas USA and Russia have made lots of profit by selling arms and ammunition.

The story of big commercial success of selling arms by promoting wars has to culminate into a big war sometime or the other. But, knowing that a nuclear war between the nations will doom our planet to near extinction, it has been avoided so far. North Korea’s Kim Jong-un is an uncertain factor and people are afraid that he can use nuclear power without caring for its consequences on the world and on his own country.

In this context, it is worthwhile asking whether Iran is a nuclear power. From time to time guesses have been hazarded. But it has not been proven indubitably that Iran is a nuclear power. If Iran would have been a nuclear power, Israel would have done the same to it as it did in Iraq by destroying its nuclear stations and preventing it from becoming a nuclear power.

It is well known that in 1979 when Morarji Desai was Prime Minister of India, Israel wanted an army base in Jamnagar in Gujrat to destroy Pakistan’s nuclear preparations. Morarji did not allow it. Now, Pakistan is the only Muslim country which is a nuclear power. Keeping this in mind, let us analyse the recent events leading to the confrontation between Iran and USA on the soil of Iraq. Even now there are reports of Iran firing missiles at US air base in Iraq as a rhetoric of Iran defence chief, which is aggressive and unapologetic. Instead of a World war, the confrontation between Iran and USA seems to have wilted down to a mere war rhetoric.

Lunar Eclipse Jan 10 2020 Journal of Astrology

The horoscope of 26 Dec 2019 clearly shows concentration of six planets in Dhanu rashi, which is the 5H of 4 July 1776 horoscope of USA. Dhanu here is the 5H of USA. The 5H being the 8th from the 10H is clearly aggressive thinking but it is not showing anything like a full fledged war.

Since only two world wars have taken place, it is not possible astrologically to produce a dependable method to predict a world war but all the developments do look like a World war.

In view of the above, we can see the horoscope of lunar eclipse of 10 Jan 2020. Here 5 planets are in Dhanu, in eighth from tenth house of US chart and in eighth house of Indian horoscope. Mars in Vrishchika, in 4H of US chart is aspecting its 7H and 10H. In Indian horoscope, Mars is transiting in 7H, aspecting lagna, 2H and 10H. What can this mean? Considering the internal disturbance in India, this can also mean an attempt on life of some Indian leader. This can be shown by the concentration of planets in 8H and Mars in 7H is never a good indicator for peace keeping.

In the Indian Independence horoscope, it is the dasha of Moon-Saturn and char dasha of Meena/Kumbha. From Kumbha, there is a concentration of planets in sixth house and Mars in the fifth house clearly shows student community becoming unpleasantly offensive.

What are the inevitable conclusions:

1) Alignment of international world powers is visible in US - Iran confrontation.

2) China and Russia are clearly siding with Shia Iran.

3) Anglo US powers are clearly siding with Sunni powers including Saudi Arabia.

In all this, the country not openly visible is Israel which has a key role in this confrontation on Western Asian soil. Present dasha of Mars, the 3L and 8L placed in the 12H in the chart of Israel shows that it has difficult years to negotiate.
