A visibly shocked former Pak PM Benazir Bhutto after the close shave nearly an hour after midnight on Friday (October 19) Former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto survived an assasination attempt on Friday (October 19), just hours after setting foot in the country. In one of the deadliest ever suicide attacks in Pakistan, two powerful blasts ripped through Bhutto's motorcade late in the night, killing atleast 133 people and injuring more than 290. The city of Karachi was subsequently placed on high alert.

"KARACHI, Pakistan - A suicide bombing in a crowd welcoming former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto killed up to 126 people Thursday night, shattering her celebratory procession through Pakistan's biggest city after eight years in exile". ...... reminded me of your recent article:- "Benazir Bhutto is “benazir” in the truest sense of holding the world record of being the only prime minister dismissed twice and is wanting to make a big comeback in the uncertain, terrorist-ridden politics of Pakistan to become what ?---a martyr ? I see that what has happened today to Benazir Bhutto can be explained by that conjunction Saturn-Venus-Ketu, just as you pointed out earlier. Please note that planet Uranus is in opposition with this conjunction, with Rahu, and retro. It is interesting for research on the new planets.

The irony of human fate and history is that what you created, patronised and encouraged can become a monster wanting to devour you. In 1994, it was Benazir Bhutto who encouraged the Taliban to further the interests of Pakistan in Afghanistan and now they are her enemies wanting to eliminate her though Taliban involvement in the terrible Karachi blast is not established.
Yet, that is the monster she has to face and fear now.
Her second enemy is said to be, surprisingly, Brig Ejaz Shah, a former officer of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, who is a close personal friend of Gen Pervez Musharraf as, says B.Raman, the most widely read and respected former intelligence officer in his piece Osama's handling officer was incharge of Benazir's security in an article in the Rediff of 19 October..
Two questions which will remain unaswered are why was Ejaz Shah, possibly an enemy of Benazir, in charge of her security and why were streets lights off when her long procession was moving.
God saves
She survived because she had just gone inside her bullet proof car to rest when the blast took place and because the suicide bombers could penetrate the security ring but not of PPP workers. People quote the famous poet Kabirdas and say that when God protects no one can kill.
But how long can Benazir expect to survive in this manner in a country where terrorists have been multiplying after USA attacked Afghanistan and Iraq and antagonized the entire Muslim world.
13 October discussion
On 13 October we had discussed her horoscope in our astrology class and students had said along with me that proximity of Venus to Saturn and Ketu did show danger to women particularly to Benazir because it was the pratyantara dasha of Jupiter in the eighth house.
On the night of 18 October, Karachi witnessed the worst terrorist act in recent memory, with fears of more to come inevitably, some of which may target President Musharraf himself.
The clearest danger is between now and 23 March 2008 in the Chara dasha of Karka and the antardasha of Kumbha. From Kumbha Atmakaraka, Saturn falls in the eighth house and receives the aspect of Mars the Putrakaraka and Sun Gnathikaraka (Jaimini aspect) .
It can have two meanings. The first that she attains some big position and then gets attacked fatally or the reverse of it.
Terrible 2007
It is proving, as predicted by me earlier, a terrible year both for India which has had six terrorist blasts and, Pakistan where it is taking a heavy toll of human lives.
To say such blasts will backfire, as the British press says, may be a naive explanation in the context of US pressure on Pakistan to eliminate terrorists which is like asking Pakistan to shoot mosquitoes with pistols.
And see Turkey in hot pursuit haste massing its troops on Iraq border to attack Kurdish rebels.
Leftists in India are giving it like hell to the prime minister Manmohan Singh while the CPM itself is losing its following among Muslims in West Bengal and others are getting disillusioned with its government after thirty long years of economic stagnation when other Indian states have progressed, some, very remarkably.

NEW DELHI: According to data compiled by the South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP), a total of 2,056 people had lost their lives in terrorist incidents in India up to October 10 this year. Including the Ajmer blast that happened after that date, in which 3 people died, the number would now stand at 2,059.
SATP figures put the casualties in Pakistan till October 10 at 2,151. Since then there have been a couple of minor incidents and Wednesday’s massive suicide attack in Karachi. If the death toll from the Karachi blast stays at 135, that would take Pakistani casualties this year up to 2,295.
It is well known and many instances are given in Hindu scriptures that when a disaster is to strike, even nature gives a warning, apart from planets. Here is an instance again.
