Open the television channels and you have either stories of scorpion bites of Saturn or Modi, or his speeches or Kejri and defamation cases against him or members of his party who continue their hissing inspite of it all. Switch over to sports channels and you have replay of old matches. Rest are glamourous persons who do not interest me. Sometimes some preachers in religious channels do attract me. But the disgust in the month of December 2015 with news channels to which I am attracted, has been immense Why all this ? An international course which attracted more people than before with some of them refused admission , as Bisariaji tells me, kept me busy and then a trip to Bangalore and our convocation back to Delhi kept me away from writing for the website. In the meantime, the defeat of NDA in Bihar and the ISIS attack on Paris grabbed headlines.
The Paris attack by ISIS needs understanding ---the big world menace it is , it will be and will endanger peace of many nations in coming years.
Those who have not read the history of the origin and spread of religions in the world cannot understand why this will never be solved . Till the adherents of one of these religions involved in this global threat are reduced to absolute poverty, weakened and the attraction of their oil wealth gets depleted almost totally the world will keep on suffering. Till then the western powers and USA the economic imperialists of the twenty first century will not stop their dangerous political games which started with Sykes–Picot Agreement world came to know of after the Russian revolution of 1917.
Read deeply the history of these proselyting religions and their spread all over the world, their religious and cultural vandalism, their clashes through centuries now reappearing in the shape of clash between US European economic imperialism and Islamic fundamentalism. We in India are familiar with the imperial hypocrisy of the British talking of democratic values at home and shamelessly pursuing their imperialistic plans resulting in atrocities in their colonies. Other European colonial powers have the same disgraceful history. Now the USA joining them , economic imperialism of the west is the biggest menace to the world with Russia and China posing threats to them in different global spots. USA spreading its net wide through the NGOs it funds in different countries is well known with India being one of its many victims.
Then there is enough evidence available to know that Al Quaeda, a creation of USA, and now ISIS also the offspring of the policy of USA to topple Assad of Syria has a world wide appeal in all the Muslim countries of the world and to Muslim populations wherever they are including Europe where France, particularly Paris, with a terrorist attack with its origin in Belgium. Then remember that nearly one fourth population of the world is Muslim and it is spread over 49 countries where Muslims are in a majority and many countries where their presence is well known. ISIS appeals to them and easily radicalises them through the preaching of fanatic mullahas easily and world wide through the internet now. Then remember the unending between Shia countries with Sunni countries with USA taking the side of Sunni countries along with Israel always identifying Shia Iran and Syria as its perpetual enemies.
Knowing all this who can ever hope for the appeal of ISIS to end and the economic imperialism of USA and European countries to end ? The clash is long, inevitable and a perpetual menace for the world. Theoretically, in all the television debates and the statements of world leaders it is said that terrorism has no religion and it is admitted that the terrorists do belong to one religion mainly. Is the implication clear ? Similarly, let it be added that imperialism has no religion but everyone knows that which countries of the world are economic imperialists.
The clash between terrorists and economic imperialists is the present crisis of world, spreading in so many countries and threatening so many nations.
That is the history of the twenty first century which began with 11 September 2001 attack on twin towers in New York and George Bush calling it a crusade later withdrawing it later. Then Bush and Blair conspiracy to topple Saddam led to the rise of ISIS.
